Paradise and Pennant Candied Fruit

Pistacio Cake Pops

Bring the green to your next St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with the pistachio cake pops that have a
surprise center – a candied green cherry. Everyone ooh and ahh over these pops, but only you will know
how easy they are to make. Also, this flexible recipe can be changed to other colors and flavors by using
red candied cherries or candied pineapple.

Ingredients:

  • 8oz. Candied Green Cherries
  • 1 box White Cake Mix (prepared as directed on box, add in Pistachio Pudding)
  • 1 box 3.4 oz. Pistachio Instant Pudding (add to the cake mix)
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 package Almond Bark or Candy Melts (white and/or green
  • Lollipop Sticks
  • Sprinkles (various colors and shapes

Directions

  1. Prepare & bake cake as directed on the box, adding the Pistachio Instant Pudding
  2. Cool completely.
  3. Crumble cake in bowl.
  4. Mix in 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the Sweetened Condensed Milk.
  5. Shape mixture around a green cherry into a ball and place on wax paper.
  6. Chill in refrigerator 30 minutes to an 1 hour.
  7. Prepare almond bark/ as directed on package (work with a little bit at a time).
  8. Put a lollipop stick in each cake ball and then into the candy coating and decorate.
