Ambur Murtanjan Kheer Pineapple

This indulgent Ambur Murtanjan kheer shines with rich, creamy milk and the bright burst of candied pineapple. Each spoonful delivers a luscious combo of subtly sweet pineapple jewels, warming spices, and velvety texture—an irresistible Eid treat that’s both festive and unforgettable.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup, Seeraga samba rice
  • ½ cup, Water
  •  cups, Full-fat milk
  • 3 tablespoon, Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon, Cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands – a few soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk)
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon, Turmeric (for color)
  •  tablespoon, Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon, Cashews (broken)
  • 1 tablespoon, Almonds (sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon, Candied pineapple
  • Rose or kewra water – a few drops
  • Salt – a tiny pinch
