Cantaloupe w/ Honey Balsamic Dressing

Cantaloupe with Honey Balsamic Dressing is a delicious and simple salad that is made with two jumbo cantaloupes. To add a unique twist to the dish, we recommend using crystallized ginger, a type of candied fruit. The sweet and spicy flavors of the crystallized ginger add depth and complexity to the salad and can also be used in a variety of baked goods. A few tablespoons of diced crystallized ginger can really elevate your fruit salads and give them a slightly sweet, peppery bite.



  • 2 jumbo or large cantaloupe, cubed
  • 1/3 cup grape juice
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons minced crystallized ginger
  • mint leaves, sliced into thin ribbons, optional
