Rich, indulgent chocolate is paired with candied cherries and nuts to create a mouthwatering dessert that few can resist. This made-from-scratch treat is easy to prepare and will disappear in a flash! Perfect for potlucks, picnics and weeknight dinners, but be sure to set one aside for yourself.
Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda, set aside. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until moistened. Fold in candied fruit, nuts and chocolate morsels (batter will be thick). Press into prepared pan.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until done.
