Paradise and Pennant Candied Fruit

Chocolate Cannoli

Savor Italian pastries resembling tubes or horns, known as our exquisite Chocolate Cannoli. These golden, crispy shells are generously filled with sweetened whipped ricotta cheese and elevated with whipped cream, mascarpone cheese, and chocolate. To enhance the experience, we top them with the delightful addition of candied citron for a burst of fruity sweetness.



  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons unsweetened baking cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 large egg separated, (you will need the egg white only)
  • metal cannoli tubes
  • 2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
  • Candied citron
