Paradise and Pennant Candied Fruit

Dark Chocolate Orange and Candied Ginger Cookies

Chocolate and orange are a classic flavor combination but the addition of Paradise candied ginger adds a touch of heat that makes this cookie truly special. Unexpected and decadent, these cookies will disappear as fast as you can bake them.

  • 1 stick plus 2 TBS unsalted butter,
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pure orange extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped Paradise Crystallized Ginger
