Paradise and Pennant Candied Fruit

Holiday Jeweled Biscotti

Nutty and fruit-filled, these classic Italian cookies receive a fruitcake-style makeover.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1 8 oz. Candied fruit mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 1/4 cup AP flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:

    Mixing the biscotti dough:

    Preheat the oven to 350° F, and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
