These buttery lemon short bread cookies also include dried red cherries and toasted hazel nuts, giving them a great crunch and amazing flavor.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Paradise Dried Red Cherries, quartered
  • 1/4 cup Paradise Lemon Peel, diced
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, toasted, chopped
