Preheat oven to 350º.
Melt butter and pour into ungreased 13 x 9″ pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan. Arrange pineapple wedges on brown sugar. Prepare cake mix following package directions, pour batter over fruit in pan. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes in pan. Invert onto serving plate.
